These terms apply to every visit to www.themugissue.com and every order placed there. The store is operated by IKH Bureau, trading as The Mug Issue, registered in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy the products in your cart. The contract between us is formed when we send your order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example when a product is unavailable, a price is clearly wrong, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars. Shipping costs and applicable sales tax are added at checkout and shown before you pay. Payment is due in full when you order. We may change prices at any time, but changes never affect orders already confirmed.
3. Products
All products are printed to order by our print partner. We show our products as accurately as we can, but colors can look different on your screen, and print placement can vary slightly from mug to mug.
4. Personalized products
When you order a personalized product, you are responsible for the names, text and images you submit. By submitting content you confirm that:
- You own it or have permission to use it
- It does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights
- It is not unlawful, hateful, obscene or otherwise offensive
We print personalization exactly as submitted, including spelling and capitalization. We may refuse or cancel an order with content that breaks these rules, and refund it.
5. Shipping and delivery
Shipping destinations, rates and delivery estimates are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the order is delivered to the address you gave us.
6. Returns and refunds
Returns, replacements and refunds are handled under our Return and Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual property
All designs, images, text, logos and other content on this website belong to IKH Bureau or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, resell or use them commercially without our written permission. Buying a product does not transfer any rights in the design printed on it.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website. This includes placing false orders, interfering with the site's operation, attempting to access it without authorization, and using it for any unlawful purpose.
9. Liability
We are responsible for delivering products that match their description and are free from defects. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or limits your statutory consumer rights.
10. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as carrier disruptions, extreme weather or supplier outages.
11. Third-party links
Our website may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. We always try to solve a complaint with you directly first, so please contact us before taking further steps.
